I thought you'd like to hear that after working with Michael Dale and others, the Internet Archive is slated to "rederive" all our nearly 200,000 movies to Ogg Theora .ogv that will play in Firefox 3.1.

Full testing is done and the rederiving is live and working now for new movies. We aim to have all movies remade before 3.1 goes live / by EOY...

cheers,

This will pave the way for a lot of online tv sites. OGGTV.COM and the few other OGG/THEORA based sites, will be ready to compete with flash and silverlight.
